Blooming Chakras
Blooming Chakras is a series of real-time films created through hand-painted waterscapes and kaleidoscopic mirroring.
Color blooms, folds, and dissolves around a continually shifting center. Nothing remains still, yet every movement gathers itself back into form—holding transformation and stillness within the same field.

When I was learning arithmetic as a child, my father asked me:
“What is one drop of water plus one drop of water?”
The mathematical answer was two.
But when two drops touch, they may become one larger drop. They can merge, divide, disappear into one another, and take form again.
These real-time films follow liquid as it responds to contact, direction, and force. Through its continual joining and separating, water unsettles the certainty of where one body ends and another begins.

Performacumentary
Performacumentary is a series of early films moving between spontaneous performance & personal documentation.
Made while living and traveling as a young woman, the works unfold through encounters with unfamiliar places: the streets of Italy, a private room of transformation, the ancient earthworks of Cahokia, and the intimate world formed around a small vessel of water.
At times I appear as a foreigner or an outsider; at others, as a child, a shapeshifter, or a mediator between the human and the unseen.
Rather than following a script, each performance emerges through direct contact with its surroundings. Vulnerability, play, ritual, discomfort, and fierce imagination become ways of meeting a place—and of discovering who is present within it.
